Success Cases
Schlumberger At the Cabo Frio Airport, we have a Ministry of Defense - Brazilian Army certified area to store explosives (Dangerous Cargoes).
The International Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Audit/Compliance, and Environmental Safety departments of Schlumberger ratified the AICF, executing a long-term contract so that we could receive and store explosives brought from the USA in our MIA/CFB flight operated by LATAM.
Seadrill One of the greatest off-shore drilling companies in the world, Seadrill shipped equipment from 4 platforms to Welvis Bay (Namibia) and Houma (USA) through the Port of Sepetiba. This project was carried out by the Cabo Frio Airport in partnership with Panalpina.
The AICF proposed the logistic solution for this export, bringing expertise to carry out the project with experienced and trained suppliers.
Brasdril In a partnership with Brasdril Sociedade de Perfurações Ltda, we planned and managed an export project of 5.3 tons of parts, pieces, and equipment from two platforms using the Port of Forno.
We managed the entire logistics operation involving the road transport from the Brasdril base, in Macaé, to the Port of Forno, in Arraial do Cabo, as well as the organization and positioning of the cargo inside the port terminal.
AGS Realizamos em parceria com a empresa AGS, uma operação de exportação de 02 aeronaves modelo S76-IMH da BHS no Cabo Frio Airport, contando com a expertise de nossa equipe de projetos. Nesta operação, demonstramos nosso conhecimento, utilizando nossa estrutura como um hub.
Além de exportações, também realizamos as importações de aeronaves como as realizadas pela BHS utilizando um dos maiores aviões de carga do mundo, o ANTONOV - AN124
Paragon Offshore In partnership with the companies Paragon Offshore and Noble Drilling Corporation, we carried out the operation of exporting 8.2 thousand tons of parts, pieces and equipment from 03 platforms (MSS2 / NDB2 / DPDS3) through the Cabo Frio Airport.
Two of these platforms were shipped through the Port of Rio de Janeiro and one through the Port of Açu.
This operation required the management of a fleet of extensive trailer trucks, 70-ton cranes and the handling/organization of all cargo in our TECA bonded area TECA.
Our strategic location and partnership with the Federal Revenue Office, located inside the Airport, allowed for greater comfort and better management of the cargo received, strengthening the commercial partnership with our clients.

Qatar Cargo The charter flight was chartered by DHL in June.
The whole process took about 12 hours: from the unloading of the aircraft, parameterization (green channel), customs clearance, to the transport pick-up until the cargo was finally in possession of the customer in Macaé.
In this case of success, 84 tons of cargo were handled incoming from China.

ANTONOV AN-124 The Antonov 124 (AB-124) was responsible for transporting parts of an oil platform bound to Houston, United States.
The export operation involved a cargo of approximately 30 tons and dozens of professionals specialized in Logistics and Foreign Trade.
